OLA COVID-19 Pandemic Action Plan

OLA provides training to small groups of students every Tuesday and Saturday. Classes are capped to 15 students and in a given week students will interact with 5 Tutors/Trainers and an early learning centre for placement.

It is important that students, tutors and trainers remain hypervigilant and practice additional hygiene rituals.

All people are now required to wash hands with soapy water for the duration of 'twinkle twinkle little star' whenever returning to classroom and prior to eating.

Please bring your own cup or drink bottle and snacks to avoid cross contamination and support social distancing.

All classroom contact points including door handles, tables and seating surfaces will be disinfected before and after each class.

All students, tutors and trainers must report to OLA if they have come into contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 and will be excluded from attending class.

If a tutor or trainer or student becomes confirmed with COVID-19 and symptoms were present within 24 hours of attending/being in contact with class, then all staff and students will be forced to self isolate.

People who have returned from a country or region that is at high or moderate risk for COVID-19 should monitor their health closely. If you develop symptoms including a fever and cough you should isolate yourself immediately and urgently seek medical attention. Go to www.health.gov.au/covid19-travellers for the list of at-risk countries.

OLA sister company Ignite Minds has published an extensive COVID-19 action plan. To avoid duplication of content students should refer to this action plan for live updates.
